The start of my journey .
During my sports management studies, I became fascinated by the mental aspects of performance. I explored the neurological, psychological, and communicative skills that drive success. Over time, I became more interested in the question: How do you create an environment where you can thrive and be happy?
That’s how I found my way into the world of recruitment. It all started in staffing, where I began matching talent with opportunities. After an acquisition, I spent three years mastering the recruitment field under the guidance of an incredible mentor.
I love understanding what drives people and what’s happening within a specific industry or sector. I’m naturally curious and eager to absorb as much context as possible. After those three years, I joined an agency where I had the opportunity to help build the company alongside the director. That’s also where I gained my first leadership experience.
Back to recruitment .
At some point, I realized I was losing touch with recruitment itself. My focus shifted too much toward business operations, and I started missing the essence of the job—the part I had truly fallen in love with. That’s when I decided to transition to a specialized recruitment company.
I came across a client facing a deadlock. It’s common for internal recruitment teams to get caught up in daily chaos, making it hard to move forward. As a consultant within the company, I was able to break through that stagnation. External experts can bring a fresh perspective and drive real change.
To be an effective consultant, you have to navigate different levels—switching between strategy, tactics, and hands-on operations. A great strategy only works when it translates into real action. That balance is what I find most fascinating.
My strengths and energy boosters .
I thrive on variety, fresh ideas, and dynamic challenges. "Fire-starting" is what excites me most.
I quickly build trust and, driven by ambition and engagement, I tend to take on a lot. This opens up huge opportunities, but I have to be mindful not to overload myself. My hunger for knowledge and challenges can sometimes become too much.
A shared vision .
Last year, I was looking for an organization that truly aligned with my vision of recruitment. Without that, long-term collaboration would be difficult for me. When I met Dorus and Chrissy, I immediately thought: You get it!
I recognized myself in their passion for the field and their approach to talent. Their holistic, integrated, and multidisciplinary vision of recruitment fits perfectly with my own. Successr genuinely helps organizations attract and develop talent in a more sustainable way. They’re constantly evolving and refining their expertise. Beyond that, I feel comfortable in an international team. Successr is in a phase where there’s still a lot to build and develop—and that’s exactly what I need. If there’s no room for growth, I lose interest.
What makes me proud .
I love working in high-energy, fast-changing environments. I thrive in situations where things are constantly evolving. My proudest moments come when I can keep a team motivated and aligned, even when challenges arise. Staying on course, making the right decisions, and keeping the momentum going—that’s what drives me.
